Camp Awakenings is coordinated by former and current youth leaders. Most of the leadership team have attended leadership development courses, such as the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). Camp Awakenings has a strong focus on selecting leaders who have a proven track record in the area of leadership and youth and clearly practice what they preach.
The leadership team requires enthusiastic, committed youth leaders to contribute to the leadership team of Camp Awakenings. If you are interested in being involved download the Position Description for the role of a Team Leader.
Any applicant who has had at least two years experience as a Team Leader at Camp Awakenings and who is interested in expanding their role beyond that of a Team Leader must submit a letter of interest detailing the scope of the role they would like to perform and how this would fit into the leadership structure and purpose of Camp Awakenings.
