Our special team personifies Camp Awakenings. A group of dedicated volunteers who use our annual leave to run the camps that changed our own lives as teenagers. In short, we believe it. We remember the fun, the challenges and the chats — and our friendships live on to this day.
From the Fab Five who lead the camps to the irreplaceable Logistics Team who make it all happen, this extraordinary combo of people are a rare breed, providing the unique magic that makes our camps work.
We’re not teachers. We’re not counsellors. We haven’t got post graduate degrees in camp-ology, but that’s the secret — creating a solid, authentic connection with young people. A spirit and dedication to make these camps better every time drives us — because we want your first camp to be as great as ours.
